HOLLYWOODREPORTER.COM – Traditionally, a track composed specifically for a film trailer isn’t treated as its own song, deserving of an individual release. But for T.T.L., an electronic project formed of musical artist Tying Tiffany and Italian producer Lorenzo Montana, scoring trailers is an opportunity to create new music than can live outside its initial format. The duo, signed with Brooklyn-based music production and sync agency ZerOKilled Music, has created music for various trailers, including Battleship, The Hunger Games and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. “Beyond Fire,” which is featured in the recent trailer for Catching Fire, was released via iTunes on Friday and functions as an autonomous single.

The instrumental number, an epic, darkly toned track, falls somewhere between classical orchestration and EDM-tinged ambiance. The pair, who previously penned “Deep Shadow” for the first Hunger Games trailer, wrote the song with the film’s sensibility in mind.

“There’s an extreme confidentiality around the trailers world so, except for a brief description of the plot, they don’t give us a lot of information,” Tiffany says. “In the case of The Hunger Games trailers, we actually read the trilogy books to get deeper into the atmosphere of the story. While writing the music we got inspired thinking about the sense of sacrifice, survival and revolution present in the books. It was not too hard to get into this mood, since these are issues that we are living in now, in this moment of history.”

MTV.COM – It may seem like Jennifer Lawrence’s Best Actress win at the Academy Awards — and her equally memorable tumble on the stairs — was ages ago, but the film that got her there, David O. Russell’s “Silver Linings Playbook,” is finally coming to Blu-ray and DVD on Tuesday.

In anticipation of the movie’s home-video release, MTV News has been given a very special exclusive from the disc’s deleted scenes. The collection of outtakes that didn’t make the final cut of “Silver Linings Playbook” includes an alternate ending, which you can watch in the video below. (Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen the movie yet, but what are you waiting for?)

ACCESSHOLLYWOOD.COM – Jennifer Lawrence was on hand at the 24th Annual GLAAD Media Awards this weekend in Los Angeles, where she got a bit tongue-tied when introducing President Bill Clinton.

The actress and Harvey Weinstein were presenting Clinton with the Advocate For Change Award when the snafu went down.

“We are happy to present GLAAD’s Advocate For Change Award to President Glib-” the Oscar winner said, immediately grimacing as she realized her mistake.

“Bill Clinton,” she said correcting herself. “Of all the names to mess up!”

Clinton went easy on Jennifer, joking – after mouthing “I love it” – “I don’t know why Harvey made Jennifer do that. I mean, she really was like 2 years old when I became President.”

Adding, “I met her backstage and she looked like she was touring the Museum of Natural History. ‘Oh, this is what dinosaurs look like!’”

HARPERSBAZAAR.COM – Twitter and Instagram are in a frenzy with the news that Jennifer Lawrence has cut off her famously long locks. BAZAAR went straight to the source, celebrity stylist Mark Townsend, to get the exclusive story on her new ‘do. His words below:

“Yesterday, Jennifer showed up an hour before call time and as she opened the door she was like ‘Mark I want to cut it all off.’ I was like ‘What? Are we allowed to do that?’ And she said ‘Of course, it’s my hair!’

She didn’t want the conventional asymmetrical bob (shorter in the back, longer in the front). She wanted tons of layers—so we went with a full-on shag, with bangs and a lot of face-framing layers. I loosened up the ends by chopping into them with thinning shears. As I cut, I lost track of how many times she said ‘I love it!’ She was super excited. It’s the shortest her hair has been her whole life.”

Townsend also adds that it’s the perfect cut as warm weather rolls in: “She doesn’t have to worry about keeping frizz down. She can just rock her natural texture.”

Jennifer is featured in TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in The World, adding another incredible achievement to her résumé. Jodie Foster also had some very kind words to say about her.

You’ll remember where you were when you first felt it, how you were stuck to one spot like a small animal considering its end. The Jennifer Lawrence Stare. It cuts a searing swath in your gut. A reckoning. I remember going to the cutting rooms of Winter’s Bone. I thought, Sure, this girl can act. But, man, this girl can also just be. All of those painful secrets in her face, the feeling that there’s some terrible past that’s left impossibly angled bone and weariness in its wake. She’s worn from the pain of living — something none of her characters would ever have the energy to articulate. It’s just part of her, like skin and muscle. The good news is that Jen, her good-humored, ballsy, free-spirited alter ego with the husky voice and a propensity for junk food … Jen, the spritely tomboy from Kentucky — that Jen’s got it together. A hoot. A gem. A gem with a killer stare.

EONLINE.COM – Jennifer Lawrence is on the receiving end of another important award!

The 22-year-old Oscar-winner, and Kentucky native, will be honored with the Down Syndrome of Louisville’s Friendship Award next week, a spokesperson for the organization tells E! News

The Hunger Games star’s brother Blaine Lawrence (pictured here on the right) and his fiancée will accept the award on behalf of his famous sis on Apr. 26 at the organization’s Kentucky Derby bash, the Mint Jubilee Gala. Lawrence is unable to attend because she’ll be filming in Hawaii.

J.Law is getting the award to honor her friendship with Louisville local Andy Strunk, who has Down Syndrome.

“Jennifer and Andy Strunk (a member of Down Syndrome of Louisville) have been friends and neighbors since their middle school days,” the spokesperson says. “Jennifer and Andy enjoy a loyal friendship of mutual encouragement and enjoy each other’s company and humor. They text and speak on the phone quite frequently. Their families stay in close contact and continue a friendship too.”

Lawrence’s family has a long history with Down Syndrome of Louisville. Her grandfather and uncle throw an annual Christmas party for the organization, which she has attended and even volunteered at.

“Our members and staff of Down Syndrome of Louisville are so very proud of Jennifer for staying true to her Louisville hometown roots while she achieves global recognition for her craft as an artist,” the spokesperson says. “We are thrilled that Andy will present the Friendship Award to her family.”

The rep added, “To quote Andy, ‘Jen is my friend!’”

WHATCULTURE.COM – After months of being simply listed as Untitled David O. Russell Abscam Project, the period flick due for release in December has today been given an official title. BoxOfficeMojo and Sony/Columbia have announced that American Hustle will hit US screens from December 13th, 2013.

Starring Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner, the film will also reunite Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert De Niro who have all made the leap from one Russell project to another in quick succession, having all previously been Oscar-nomiated for their work on 2012?s Silver Linings Playbook. In addition to these six heavy hitters, End Of Watch’s Michael Pena and stand-up-comic-of-the-moment Louis CK are also entering the American Hustle fold to help Russell bring Eric Singer’s script (originally titled American Bullshit) to life.

Set in the 1970s, American Hustle will tell the story of a con artist (Bale) and his partner (Adams) who are forced into working with ‘the feds’ (Cooper). Sure to combine history, drama and comedy in America’s most fashionable of eras, it (so far) has all the makings of another David O. Russell hit. After scoring nominations across the board with The Fighter (not to mention an Oscar for Bale), and global adoration for Silver Linings Playbook, Russell has managed to assemble perhaps the most intimidating cast of 2013 as he looks to secure a third consecutive critical success.

HOLLYWOODREPORTER.COM – The wait is over.

During the MTV Movie Awards, the first official trailer for Lionsgate’s anticipated Hunger Games follow-up, Catching Fire, debuted during Sunday’s two-hour telecast with a special introduction by one of its stars, Liam Hemsworth. The two-minute trailer, which premiered just after 8 p.m. PT/11 p.m. ET, showcased Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) being presented as the victors of the 74th Hunger Games as civil unrest reached a boiling point.

It also showed President Snow (Donald Sutherland) and the introduction of new head gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour Hoffman) conspiring to eliminate Katniss, whom they deem to be a dangerous threat to all that has been built. “She has become a beacon of hope for them. She has to be eliminated,” Snow declares in the trailer.

“I agree she should die, but in the right way … at the right time,” Plutarch says as he runs through his proposed plan among scenes of upheaval. “Katniss Everdeen is a symbol. We don’t have to destroy her, just her image, so then she is one of us now. Let them rally behind that. They’re gonna hate her so much, they might just kill her for ya.”

It’s Katniss and Peeta’s guide Haymitch (Woody Harrelson) who tells them to become a distraction so the people can focus on them instead of the real problems. Even Katniss’ younger sister, the quiet Primrose (Willow Shields), wants to get in on the action. Other moments of note include a kiss between Katniss and childhood friend Gale (Hemsworth), a standoff between Katniss and a gun, and Snow’s desire to “eradicate” Katniss’ species (aka the other Hunger Games victors).
